MARCRIST LAUNCH UNBEATABLE DIAMOND CORE DRILL AND MACHINES

Marcrist International, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of diamond tools, has launched an innovative new range of wet handheld and rig mounted diamond core drills and machines.

The range consists of three drilling kits - Compact, Midi and Maxi, which are competitively priced from only £848, along with a choice of over 26 different sizes of diamond cores. Each kit includes stand, drill, transport case and spanners, and is offered with a 5 years no cost, 5 year no service and 5 year no maintenance guarantees!

The Compact is supplied with an ultra light DS150 drill stand whilst Midi and Maxi has the DS250 alloy construction drill stand with wheeled base and vacuum and bolt down foot.

Both Compact and Midi are supplied with the DDM3 drill and are capable of drilling up to 152mm holes in concrete and 200mm holes in brick. Maxi, which again has a wheeled base and vacuum and bolt down foot and is 90o tiltable for angle drilling from 0 to 90o and is supplied with the DDM4 drill, is capable of drilling 250mm holes in concrete and 350mm homes in brick.

The new range provides the most efficient, safest, cheapest and fastest method of forming anchors and through-holes in any type of material. Tests have shown Marcrist's new diamond core drills take only six minutes to create a perfect hole with minimal noise and no dust or making good, compared to 52 minutes for a hammer and chisel. Even when compared to other diamond cores, Marcrist's TüV (independently) witnessed and verified average time for drilling 100 holes is over 50 per cent faster than nearest competitor.

Marcrist's new wet diamond cores have significantly less vibration, which means they dramatically reduce the most commonly reported industrial disease HAVS (Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome) and Vibration White Finger (VWF). For this reason, HSE and most leading drill manufacturers recommend diamond drilling instead of rotary hammer drilling, especially as protecting the four million employees at risk from vibration is now a legal requirement.

Independent tests indicated that the maximum number of holes before vibration limit is reached with a tungsten carbide tip core, even with vibration dampening, when drilling an 82mm diameter, 300 mm deep hole in B45 un-reinforced limestone concrete, is only 1.3. The vibration limit would not be reached using Marcrist's new DDM3, without vibration dampening, until 605 holes had been drilled.

The core drills are much longer lasting than any equivalent product in the market.

Marcrist has revolutionized the market, for the first time providing users with the cheapest, safest and quickest method of making a hole in any material.

The three machines: DDM2, DDM3 & DDM4 are also cheaper than any other product, which makes them a viable option to all users.

Marcrist is so confident of the benefits of the new range that it is offering customers a 30-day money back guarantee and in the unlikely event of anything going wrong, free core and machine repairs.

Mario Halbeisen, International Sales and Marketing Director, explains: "Our new range of wet diamond core drills and machines offer significant benefits in terms of cost and time savings for users. When you consider all the other safety benefits, there has never been a better time to try our new range."
