Operating worldwide, we are beginning a large expansion process due to the growth, changing market needs and success of Marcrist International Ltd. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting tests on various materials using diamond tools and abrasives. The primary goal is to gather performance data on our products and compare it with competitor products. This role is vital in ensuring our products meet high standards of quality and performance.

Brief Responsibilities:

  • Conduct material testing using diamond tools and abrasives.
  • Follow testing protocols to evaluate product performance.
  • Collect and document performance data, including durability, efficiency, and effectiveness of our products versus competitors.
  • Prepare reports on test results, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests and results.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to improve product designs based on test outcomes.
  • Ensure testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and testing methods.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

You offer:

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, or a related field, or relevant technical certification.
  • Experience in material testing, especially with diamond tools and abrasives, is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of testing protocols and data collection.
  • Ability to use testing equipment and software for data collection.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with basic statistical analysis techniques.
